Naughty Nuri's 1 Year Anniversary @ Desa Sri Hartamas

I'm pretty sure most of you would've at least heard of Naughty Nuri's by now. If you have not, well, it is one of the most affordable and best tasting ribs in town, located in the heart of Desa Sri Hartamas. The origins of Naughty Nuri's came from Indonesia, where a lovely couple have decided to combine the art of mixing and technique of grilling pork ribs into one restaurant, with the girl being Ms Nuri was rather cheeky.
Hence, the birth of Naughty Nuri's.

Signature Pork Ribs - RM39
Unlike most review that I've done, Naughty Nuri's came out with their signature item first instead of an appetizer. There isn't much to be said except for the fact that the ribs was absolutely divine. It isn't the best I've had, but it is definitely one of the better ones out there. Soft bones, tender-meat, flavourful marination and a delicious dark soy chili sauce - lovely!
Not to mention the price to size ratio, it really is affordable!
Indonesian Style Mee Goreng - RM18
Next on the menu would be the Indonesian Style Mee Goreng. Done in quite an exquisite way, the noodles were firm and bouncy while the additional ingredients of chopped beans, chili, shallots, fried garlic and vegetables added a good amount of flavour and texture.
Indonesian Style Nasi Goreng - RM18
Similar to the mee goreng, but in a different way. The nasi goreng here is unlike others. Rice was done rather fluffily as compared to most places and the flavours were a little milder. Nevertheless, it's a great dish to pair your ribs with!
Naughty Nuri's BBQ Satay Lilit - RM25
The presentation may not look like much, or perhaps it may resemble something unpleasant. However, the taste of the satay along with the sauce was simply amazing. The rich aroma and lingering spices on the satay and paired with a dip of spicy-salty sauce - perfect!
Occasionally, Naughty Nuri's waiters will perform a random dance. Even when someone order a cocktail or something. For this occasion however, they did so to celebrate the 100,00 guests served!

Winner of RM2000 cash! (3rd prize). I will skip the winner of RM3000 cash because the fellar did not attend. What a donkey. Instead, I had to go up and collect on behalf of him, without any commission. How sad =(

Naughty Nuri's KL has also recently launched a speakeasy bar, where it fits up to 20 people in a non-smoking room. The room features a full-fledge bar that offers a wide variety of cocktails and mixes. So if you're looking for a place to enjoy a couple of drinks with a small group of friends in a rather posh area, this is the place for you.
