Modeum Gui Set A - RM300

Starting strong with a good defiance of the goddess, Guanyin. This platter of beef consists of 6 different types of meat, suitable for a party of 3-5 pax. The first thing that caught my attention were those magnificent marbelization on those meat. Look at the beauty of it!

Modeum Gui Set B - RM250

If you prefer a balance of pork and beef, then this is the set for you. It has several slices of pork, along with the same beautiful marbelization of beef slices, pork chop, marinated chicken and prawns. 

Modeum Gui Set C - RM200

Now, if you're a pork lover, then do go for this set. Not only is the this the cheapest of them all, it comes in generous amount of pork slices, marinated pork bacon, bacon, pork chop, marinated chicken and prawns. Suitable for 3-4 pax. 

Purchase any of the set above and get a complimentary drink. Choose from either the Soju or the other 'milk-soju'. You'll find that having a shot of these would make the entire experience a whole lot better.

For those who can't eat a lot, or perhaps couples who just want to have a light BBQ, these are the sets for you. Choose from 3 different combinations, each with a slight variation.

Set A - RM80 ++ (left)

Octopus, Dae pae sum gyup sal, mok sal, sam gyup sal, go chu jang sam gyup sal, soy bean sam gyup sal, dwae ji galbi

Set B - RM85++  (middle)

Tiger prawn, hang jung sal, chicken bbq sam gyup sal, go chu jang sam gyup sal, soy bean sam gyup sal, dwae ji galbi

Set C - RM90 ++ (right)

Tiger prawn, hang jung sal, chicken bbq sam gyup sal, go chu jang sam gyup sal, soy bean sam gyup sal, la gal bi

The difference in each of these sets aren't really noticeable, besides the fact that Set A comes with marinated octopus while the other 2 comes with tiger prawns. 

Starting the BBQ, there are two ways to go about it. One is that you allow them to cook it for you, if you're not sure about the timing of each meat or you would prefer to play safe. However, if you're experienced enough, do grill the meat yourself to ensure the taste and doneness of each meat is to your liking. 

I like my beef pink, so I had it on the grill for no more than 20 seconds each side. With that, I get to taste the natural sweetness of those marbelization and tenderness of the meat. It was absolutely delicious. Technically, you do not need any other sauce, just enjoy it as so.

For the pork and chicken, you might need a longer cooking time. These it where it usually gets dangerous to some as they often undercook it. So it's recommended to let them handle both the pork and chicken. 

Do not be surprised as the wax paper there is exactly where it is meant to be. It helps the grill stay clean and the meat to not stick on it. Pretty useful.

Also, I forgot to mention that the typical Korean side dishes are provided, along with some lettuce and sauce for your meat. Not to worry, they are all free flow. So refil as much as you like (or finish)!

In conclusion, having a meal at San Nae Deul Oasis Square, Ara Damansara is pretty straight-forward. Premium meat, good service, clean environment and of course, affordability. It is definitely not the cheapest form of Korean BBQ in town, but it certainly is one of the best.
