Wafflemeister @ KLCC
4:14:00 PMAfter craving waffles for a long period of time, we've finally stumbled upon a shop that serves decent looking waffles. The name itself was pretty catchy, Wafflemeister, reminds me of Gundam 00 characters but anyways, here is a short review!
The shop's front.
Dream Team (Raspberry Sorbet) - RM19
This was my order of handmade Belgian waffles with a scoop of Raspberry sorbet. There were 10 flavours in total if I'm not mistaken. I didn't know which one to pick and I'm certain I couldn't afford to pay for all the other flavours so this was my first choice; mainly because I haven't had a good Raspberry sorbet in years.
The combination of the sweetened glazed with Belgian chocolate and Raspberry sorbet was indeed weird. To be it was a bad combination but, if separated, it was delicious. The sorbet was light. icy and a little sour. Just how I liked it. The Belgian chocolate was really smooth, rich and just right. Waffles were consistent and nicely glazed. Overall, I do like it but the price is a little high for me.
Dark Au Chocolate - RM12.50
A simple serving of handmade Belgian waffles with Belgian chocolate. Similar to the Dream Team (Raspberry) just without the sorbet. Simple, light but divine. Price too was a little on the high side for me. But overall, good waffles!
