Vitamin Sea @ Seri Kembangan

I personally love seafood. Just about any sort of fish, clams or shellfish, I enjoy it very much. I also tend to seek for the freshest selection of seafood available in restaurants, but most of the time, it's either frozen or stale. I mean, there are some great ones out there, but they are incredibly rare. So much so as even Vitamin Sea is located quite a distance from where I stay.

Vitamin Sea is another seafood restaurant that capitalizes on your hands to eat. Simply pop on a plastic glove (or not) and enjoy the spread of delicious seafood that will be laid out on a long table.

Crabs, prawns, mussels, crayfish are just some of what I had the other day, with more in the ala-carte menu. You'll also get to choose from 3 different flavours; spicy, creamy and their latest premium soy. I went for the spicy cause I personally like it the most, and I've yet to try the other 2.

Lovely prawns.

Look at that crab.

Mini octopus - my personal favourite.

Personally, the spicy sauce was an absolute delight. It had a good depth of flavour with just enough heat, as well as aroma from the 18 different blend of spices. The choices of seafood were great, but most of them were slightly overpowered by the gravy. I could still taste the natural sweetness of the seafood and vegetables, but I believe I could've tasted it more in the other 2 sauces.

Regardless, I still enjoyed the sauce really much. Each set also comes with a choice of either white bread or rice. I went for rice cause I was really hungry that day, and having it with these amazing seafood items was fantastic.

Baked Potatoes

Sloppy Fries

Adding on to my carbs, I went for 2 different types of potatoes - Baked and Sloppy Fries. The baked potatoes were pleasant and light, but flavourful enough. The Sloppy Fries on the other hand, was a little cold when I actually took a bite. Personally, I think this is best ordered when you're almost done with your meal. The flavours are there, but the fries was a little cold for me.

Last but not least, I washed it down with a refreshing cup of Blue Lemonade. It's zesty, sparkly and a great compliment to the flavourful seafood items.

All and all, I think Vitamin Sea can be the next upcoming seafood place. Their seafood are incredibly fresh and the sauce I had was great. Not sure about the other 2 but so far so good. Service was great and the ambiance was calm and relaxing. It certainly is a great place to be while feasting on crabs and prawns.
